Ryan Snipes and Dynamite Eldorado are a 3 piece band out of New Braunfels, TX. Rooted in the power trio tradition of their home state, they blend the Blues-Rock dynamism of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble with a serve-the-song mantra heavily influenced by the great Tom Petty. A singer/songwriter band that swings. Their songs feature lyrics that reflect the honesty of Petty and the vulnerability of Ryan Adams, with cinematic musical arrangements painting vivid pictures of the story as it unfolds before your ears.

In 2018 Ryan Snipes (Vocals, Guitar) met Tanner Cash (Bass) and Mitchell Pyeatt (Drums) onstage at Billy’s Ice, the home and heartbeat of the New Braunfels music scene. After jamming Tom Petty’s “Honey Bee”, the trio knew they were on to something. The next five years saw them do numerous gigs, either as the natural jam band that they were or as a backing group for various artists around town. They spent most of 2023  traveling as the road band for the late, great Charlie Robison.  All of these experiences helped to create a musical brotherhood between the three and and that bond can clearly be heard on their debut e.p., slated for release in early 2024.

“Alone Tonight”, the band’s flagship single, captures the essence of their unique sound.  It would be equally at home among the rootsier Alt-Rock offerings of the mid 90’s or on the Red Dirt airwaves circa 2005. The jangly twang of the guitars hint at British and Southern Rock influences while the rhythm section, steady and stoic, adopts the less-is-more approach heard in Classic Rock inspired Americana. The core elements of guitar, bass, and drums provide a solid foundation for tasteful textures such as piano, 12 string acoustics, and harmony vocals. Raw emotion tempered with sophistication. Soul plus songcraft. Expect more of the same from Ryan Snipes and Dynamite Eldorado this year, on all streaming platforms and on stages across Texas.
